USG BORAL Ceramic Cladding Access Panel are produced especially for use in tiled areas, such as bathrooms, toilets and kitchens. Two layers of gypsum plasterboard (2x12.5mm) in higher quality in accordance with EN 520 are used upon request. The panel cover surface can be tiled with various standard tiles. In the process, an outward-facing visual joint spacing of 3-4mm is maintained. At the bottom in the mounting frame there is a silicon spacing profile used as a support and seal for the panel cover that prevents the sinking of the panel cover. A safety steel rope guarantees the catching of the flap cover with every opening. After unlocking the carabiner, the flap lid is completely removable. For flaps with a height greater than 650mm and large weight two additional safety arms are available as a catch between flap lid and mounting frame.
