The New KGOC Main Office Green Building is a unique Architectural edifice in Kuwait being one of the leading Green Buildings in the country to be awarded LEED-Gold Certificate from USGBC with the contribution of a specialized International Consultant.

When it comes to building such an edifice, distinctive contributions of innovative building products and solutions must be present. USG ME studied the project from all its aspects and came up with an innovative strategy to develop the building using its unique building solutions that were as follows:

• Laminated Gypsum tiles 
• Painted, Laminated Gypsum Plain White Vinyl Laminated tiles,
• Regular Gypsum board
• Suspension Systems

Challenge Faced 

USG ME has faced a challenge in maintaining the original requirements that satisfy the LEED gold certification; however, this wasn't the first project done by USG ME building materials and acquire this certificate. The experience of our company in obtaining this certificate led us to achieve those requirements.

USG ME LEED- gold certificate products allowed the project to be achievable, and the project was awarded the MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS CERTIFICATION, LEED-Gold Certificate
